IDSA’s purpose is to improve the health of individuals, communities, and society by promoting excellence in patient care, education, research, public health, and prevention relating to infectious diseases.


African Region

Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network (EPN) will build on its existing partnerships with stakeholders on AMR such as ReAct, GARP, other members of the Antimicrobial Resistance Coalition (ARC) and others to address AMR issues in the faith sector and broader health system.


European Region

Alliance to Save Our Antibiotics. ''Our vision is a world in which human and animal health and well-being are protected by food and farming systems that do not rely routinely on antibiotics and related drugs.''

Antibiotic Action seeks to inform and educate all about the need for discovery, research and development of new treatments for bacterial infections.

Strama - the Swedish strategic programme against antibiotic resistance - was formed already in 1995, and has since been a driving force in the Swedish work against antibiotic resistance.
