One week lab course on antibiotic resistance

This week, 15 students completed the one week lab course, "The Problem of Antibiotic Resistance" led by CARe member Anne Farewell.
Students did a variety of experiments demonstrating the research into this problem. This course is a companion to the theory course, BIO001 which is available both as a MOOC from CARe and as a distance course offered by the Dept. of Chemistry and Molecular Biology. The MOOC is found at www.antibiotic-resistance.org and late registration for the 3 credit distance course opens up in July. The course is in English and free to all EU members.
