CARe receives continued support after evaluation

During 2018, two external evaluators have been asked to scrutinize the activities by CARe over the last years (2016-2018). As basis for their conclusions, the yearly reports from the center and instructions from UGOT were used. Both agreed on that CARe met all criteria for what an UGOT-center should undertake according to the University of Gothenburg’s guidelines. After considering the half-time evaluation of CARe, provided by the external examiners, Göran Landberg (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, responsible for research) suggested to the University management that CARe should receive continued support. The deciding University management-meeting took place March 14th where after Vice-Chancellor Eva Wiberg decided to extend the support to CARe until 2022.
