Joakim Larsson gave the Distinguished Guest Lecture at the Royal Society of Chemistry

- It was an indeed an honor to become the Distinguished Guest Lecturer of the year, says Joakim Larsson.

 

On the 28th of March, Prof Joakim Larsson, director of CARe, had the honor to give the yearly "Distinguished Guest Lecture" at the Royal Society of Chemistry at Burlington House in London. The event, arranged by the Environmental Chemistry group of the RSC, focused on antimicrobial resistance in the environment. Additional speakers at the event included Prof Dr Andrew Singer (NERC Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, UK), Prof Célia Manaia (University of Porto, Portugal) and Lee Slater (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, UK). Larsson was awarded a medal from the Royal Society at the closure of the event.
